A memorial service to celebrate Clem's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24 at the Qualico Family Centre, 330 Assiniboine Park Drive in the Tamarack Room. I have known Clem since 1958 at 3052 TTU, (17 Wing Air Auxilliary), he was an instructor, I was a kid. Throughout all the passing decades with 402 Squadron and 402 Squadron Assn I always knew Clem as a kind, patient, level headed gentleman. He was a mentor and a friend. My first memories of Uncle Clem go back to 1956 at age 4. I have very fond memories of Clem and his family. He was always happy to see his nieces and nephews and greeted us all with a big smile. His nephews were always greeted with a mind blowing hand shake. As I got older it became a contest which I never did win. Uncle Clem also had a remarkable character. Strong, steady, loyal family man who was always kind, generous and loved a good joke. I will always remember his smile and laugh. I'll miss you Uncle Clem.
