I was blessed to have been a part of Teresa's journey through a difficult disease. Terrie was the Sunshine who lit up our lives here and made us smile and laugh and treasure the little things in life. I will always think of her smile when I hear Englebert's "Can't Take my Eyes Off of You". My Sincere condolences to John and Andrew. - Posted by: Cheryl (Friend) on: Nov 06, 2015

I worked with Terry at the VGH for many years. Her warm personality, her commitment to our patients, her strong management and nursing skills were always evident in her work. I valued her support in our workplace. You could always count on Terry to do the right thing in difficult situations. My condolences to John, Andrew and their family. - Posted by: Ben Berkal (colleague) on: Oct 30, 2015

I had the greatest pleasure to meet and know Teresa while she was living at Riverview, where my grandmother (Stella Drebit) spent her final months. You could tell that Teresa's nursing career had been very important to her as she brought that caregiving spirit with her to Riverview, and she was always concerned about the welfare of her fellow residents and the family members that came to visit their loved ones. It was always lovely to see her smiling face as she was 'making her rounds'. - Posted by: Leslie Ternowetsky (Visitor at Riverview) on: Oct 24, 2015

My sympathies to John & family. I met Terri in 1984 when she was head nurse at The Vic. Terri will be remembered for her quiet manner, beautiful smile, and professionalism. Rest in peace Terri. - Posted by: Pat Dixon (Co worker ) on: Oct 24, 2015

My sister and I got to know Teresa at Riverview. She was an amazing lady. We enjoyed laughing together, singing and sometimes dancing. She would say I love you and we would love her back. She will be missed. - Posted by: Jane Marek (friend) on: Oct 24, 2015

Our deepest sympathy to John and family. We knew Terry as a co-worker when she was head nurse on a unit at Victoria Hospital. She was always friendly, with a bubbly personality and was a hard working, dedicated professional. Although we haven't seen her for years, she is easily remembered. May she rest in peace. Terry was always pleased to see me when I visited Mom at Riverview. We had many a conversation where I got to see small pieces of her life before Alzheimers. She was so full of energy and good will. John and Andrew, you were her life. Jane and I speak fondly of the times we had with Terry. - Posted by: Judy Ternowetsky (Friend (former visiter to Riverview)) on: Oct 24, 2015
