JEAN LAVIGNE (nee TOWN) 1925 - 2015 Peacefully on October 24, 2015, Jean Alberta Kathleen Lavigne passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children - Gerry (Chris), Joan (Jim Kleyh), and Don (Sharon); grandchildren Jana, Damon, Bryce, Morgan, Nicholas, and Devin; and great-grandchildren Emily, Trinity, Joaquin and Piper; sister Leslie (Ken Lawrence) and nephews Brian and Rob. Jean was predeceased by Joe, her loving husband of 46 years. Mom will always be remembered for her love of family, a wonderful sense of humour, and her joy in life. She taught us always to make the best of what life offers and always put family first. You will remain in our hearts forever. A private family celebration of Jean's life has been held. The family wishes to thank the staff on AB1 at Riverview Health Centre for their outstanding care and compassion. She was a dedicated person to her husband and also to her family. Lost track of her with no following address. Used to keep in touch with my sister Lois. Lois is not well. Would have been nice to have known where she was so we could have kept in touch.
