GEORGETTE KLOS (nee GELINAS) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Georgette, on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at the age of 77. Georgette will be lovingly remembered by her children Randy (Karen), Barbara (Norm) and Colleen (Mike); her grandchildren Ryan (Julie), Robert (Sarah), Carley, Kyle and Kevin; her great-grandchildren Rachael, Aiden and Allison; her brothers / brothers-in-law; sister / sisters-in-law, and her many nieces, nephews and friends. Georgette was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edward Klos. Georgette was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on December 21, 1937. She resided in Regina until she moved to Winnipeg with her sister Elmire and family where she met her loving husband Edward at the Stop-N-Eat restaurant in the late 1950s. Edward and Georgette moved to the Klos farm in Hazelglen, Manitoba where she resided until she left us. Georgette loved playing cards and bingo with her family and friends. She loved to bake and prepare all sorts of foods - especially perogies, and cherished many family gatherings that were held at the Klos farm. Georgette was a very caring person who loved and would do anything her children, grandchildren / great-grandchildren and extended family. • In the 1940s I was a neighbour of the Gelinas family on Angus Street in Regina. Georgette had a kind heart and was a good friend. We used to walk each other home after dark. Georgette's sister Elmire married my brother David. Through this connection we maintained contact over the years. Our deepest sympathies to all of Georgette's family. - Posted by: Faith Phelan (Whitehead) and family (Family Friend) on: Oct 31, 2015
