Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL DONNA BRANT (nee GUNN) November 2, 1947 - October 27, 2015 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Carol. She was born on November 2, 1947, in Winnipeg and grew up in St. James. She was predeceased by her lovely husband, (George) David, her parents, Reg and Neta and brother Barry. Carol will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey (Judy), Christopher (Tracy) and grandson Tyler. She will also be missed by numerous brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carol worked as a demonstrator for over 15 years with Professional Warehouse Demonstrator (PWD). Carol loved to spend her weekends at the cottage with family and friends and enjoyed such things as planting flowers, making home-made dessert for Dave and the boys, shopping and traveling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6. A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. We were shocked and saddened to learn today of Carol's sudden passing. She was a friend from high school years and in later years we would often meet Carol while she was working at Costco.
