LEO SHEWCHUK 1923 2015 Leo Shewchuk, 92, of Winnipeg, MB. Born February 18, 1923 in Taurow, Poland to parents Wasyl and Rozalia Shewchuk. Leo was the oldest of seven children, Katie, Nettie, Mary, Mike, Ann and Paul (Ann). Leo is survived by his wife Jean of 60 years and his children, Allen, Julie (Peggy), Janet (Dan), Jerry (Lara), Linda (Rob); as well as 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Leo grew up in Rembrandt, MB and worked most of his life as a mechanic/welder at Mack trucks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. A Celebration of Leo's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB. Interment will be a private family service at The Pioneer Cemetery in Rembrandt, MB. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
