DOREEN IVY ROTH (PARKER) November 3, 1930 - October 30, 2015 Peacefully in her sleep at Golden West Centennial Lodge where she had resided for the past two years. Predeceased by her parents Dave and Vi; brothers, Don, Ron, George, Carl and Bob; sisters Bernice and Bev; and special friend Terry Marshall. Greatly missed and dearly loved by son Doug (Di), daughter Debi (Ken); grandchildren, Amanda (Doug), Tara (Mark) and Geoffrey (Leah); and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Alexcis, Geoffrey and Emmett, as well as sister Shirley and numerous relatives and friends. Doreen was born in Winnipeg and spent most of her life there. She retired from Revenue Canada in 1994. She loved crafts and her more than 20 years at the cabin on Macara Lake at Ingolf, Ontario. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the staff of Golden West Centennial Lodge who treated mom with grace and dignity. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held at The Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede, 99 Turner Avenue on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 9Z9, Golden West Centennial Lodge or The Church of St. Stephen and St. Bede would be appreciated.
