MARY STRZELBICKI October 3, 1923 - October 31, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Strzelbicki on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Oakview Place, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in June 2002. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Helen, son Orest (Elaine), grandchildren Tracy (Karl), Andrew, Ryan (Tammy), and great-grandchildren Breanne and Justice. Mom was a beautiful, warm, and caring person always willing to lend a helping hand. For Mary, family was everything. She wanted the best for us, always giving of herself. She looked forward to Sunday visits after the children had moved to the city; you would never leave her home without that "special care package". Mary was a longtime resident of Hazelridge, Manitoba and longed to return to her home in the country. Since April 2009, Mom resided at Oakview Place Personal Care Home. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to all the staff who cared for Mary during her stay. A celebration of Mary's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • The Holubowich family enjoyed the Sunday visits to Hazelridge, the wonderful meals and company, the laughter and the fun. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Margaret Holubowich (Gaune) (family) on: Nov 09, 2015

  • When we were young Mom,my brother Lawrence and I would visit the family often. We all had a good visit and Auntie Mary would always serve a very nice lunch every time. In later years Mom and I would visit Aunt Mary at least once a week when my Mom was still alive. Auntie Mary was very appreciate and enjoyed visiting with my kids too. We never left hungry and felt very loved. Auntie Mary was a very loving caring person who treated my brother and I like her own kids. Rest in peace my lovely Aunt. Our condolences to Helen and family and to Orest and family. May you find peace in the Lord at this time of grieving. Lots of Love Allan Renetta Komadowski & Family and Lawrence Jakobsze - Posted by: Renetta Komadowski (God Daughter) on: Nov 03, 2015
