Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA FITKOWSKY (nee SKALESKY) July 7, 1930 - November 4, 2015 It is with great sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of mom, grandma, and great-grandma, Olga Fitkowsky on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the age of 85 years, at Riverview Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her parents John and Michalena; her husband Steve; sisters Mary and Jean; brothers Fred, Paul, Joseph, and Maurice. Left to cherish her memories are her children Don, Ernie, and Lorna (John); grandson Derek; great-granddaughter Danica; granddaughter Jaclyn; great-grandchildren Kail and Kammryn; grandson Jonathan (Nicole); sisters-in-law Nellie, Pat, and Gay; brother-in-law George; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends. Olga was born in St. Norbert and lived there till she moved to Winnipeg. She worked at Scott Bathgate Candy Factory. She met and married her husband Steve and had three children. Mom was an avid sports fan; she watched her family play a variety of sports. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma who will be missed by all. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street with interment and reception to follow.
