Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERTRUDE (GERT) MAY MILLER Peacefully on November 4, 2015 at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB with family by her side, Gertrude (Gert) May Miller, aged 93 years of Eriksdale passed away. Gert leaves to mourn her children Cameron, Sharleen (Frank), Craig (Carolyn), Bryon (Bev), Ray, Cheryl (Shane), Joyce (Rick) and Janice (Kevin); daughter-in-law Audrey; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons; along with a sister-in-law Laura Brown. She was predeceased by her husband Kemmy in 1980, son Ken in 1972, son Sandy in 1991, great-granddaughter Kirsten in 2010 and a daughter-in-law Vivian in 1992, parents Annie and Arthur Brown as well as all her siblings. A celebration of Gert's life with be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Eriksdale Recreation Centre, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to be held in the St. Cuthbert Cemetery with lunch to follow in the hall. Honorary pallbearers will be all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital. Our heartfelt thanks to Dwayne who took special care of Granny. I am so sad to hear about this months later. Aunty Gert was precious to me and my family. He voice and laughter was contagious. She is a ray of sunlight and I will miss her dearly. I love everything about her and my last conversation with her was so great! She shared family information for Kelsey Browns (youngest Brown) school project. I also learned that we have the same disease and I understand her pain. Aunty Gert you made everything better and my family will miss you always.
