Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My sister... As warm as a Christmas fire, as hot as the crackling ember. Sweet as the honey in Pooh's pot. As harsh as the wind in December. A lake in the autumn.. fishing we went. A turkey to cook.. and wine to be vent. So much did she say, and well did she listen. A blind eye to turn, as we went about our mission. Words of advice, vociferously shouted. While grinning inside, the sly deeds touted. Of all of us, she judged us fair For all of us, always there. Where time goes, I know not. Our feelings go, to a warm thought. Her days of beauty, now sadly spent. From all our hearts, now heaven sent.... I'll miss ya Sis ! - Posted by: Rusty (Littlest brother) on: Nov 28, 2015
