MARION GRIFFITH (nee COWIE) It is with sadness, Marion's family announces her sudden and unexpected passing, due to cancer, on November 15, 2015 at the Grace Hospital. Marion was born November 5, 1938, in Eriksdale, Manitoba. She is survived by her brothers Cecil (Pauline), Lloyd (Diane); and sisters Eileen (Rene), Rita; brother-in-law Ron and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her long-time partner Jim Hale, parents Louis and Grace Cowie; brother Leonard; sisters, Vera and Doris; brothers-in-law Doug, Scotty and Harvey and her sister-in-law Edith. Also two nephews Ray and Ken. Marion enjoyed a 35 year career at the Winnipeg Health Science Centre. She was a very private person. She enjoyed bowling, trips to the casinos, shopping on the Shopping Channel and keeping her little yard neat and tidy. Cremation has taken place. A family get together to celebrate her life, will take place at a later date. Rest in peace little lady.
