EVA SZOURONSKI Eva passed away at Winnipeg, MB on November 20, 2015. Eva was born November 18, 1930 in Grenfell, SK. She started school there, finishing in Broadview, SK. After High School, she moved to Regina and worked at General Films for a few years. She then moved to Winnipeg and trained as a nurse at Misericordia Hospital where she worked for her entire nursing career until retirement. She is predeceased by her parents, Annie and Michael Szouronski; brothers, Harry and William Szouronski; sisters, Mary Szouronski, Catherine Langdahl, and Rosalind Szouronski; brothers-in-law Richard Taffe, Robert Langdahl, and James Cook. She is survived by her family: Margaret and Don Duperreault, Regina; Marion and John Szouronski, Burnaby, BC, Alice Taffe, Hastings, MN; and Olga Cook, Moose Jaw; as well as several nieces and nephews and their children. Eva's family would like to thank all the staff, nurses and doctors at Misericordia Place. A Graveside Service will take place at Broadview Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. In living memory of Eva, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
