Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur in 2013. She leaves behind her son, Stephen (Lana), daughter Carol (Robert), son Graham (Susan), sister Isa (Brian) and brother Alex (Sandra) and their families. As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service is planned. Our hearts are broken, but now you can rest. Your love will be with us forever. I was a young trainee when I met Joan in the Civilian Personnel Office at CFB Winnipeg in 1978. She was a classy, fun-loving lady who brightened up the office with her cheery attitude and ever-present smile.
