Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD (EDDY) REYNOLDS April 27, 1944 - November 21, 2015 After a lengthy illness, Edward Reynolds passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Eddy was predeceased by his mother (2014); sister Margaret (2008); and his father (1982). He was also predeceased by his longtime friend and companion Noella (2013). Left to treasure his memory are his sister Joan, brother Ray (Monica), nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Eddy was born April 27, 1944, in Eriksdale, Manitoba. He was the second oldest of four children born to Helen and Edward Reynolds. He grew up on a farm surrounded by wide open spaces. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the changes of each season. During his time in the hospital, he remarked about this being the "best of times", a time of wonderful memories and of the special family traditions we shared over the years. It is during this time that strong family ties were nurtured. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment will follow at Glen Eden in the Garden of the Old Rugged Cross. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and health care aides who cared for him. Sending my deepest condolences to the Reynolds Family. I have known Ed since the 70's, and have always considered him one of my good friends. We lost contact since the early 90's, but he was always being thought of. I wish I would have known about his illness, as I was at the Seven Oaks Hospital a few times a week. He was really one of a kind. He was always there for me, when I lived in Eriksdale, and even after I lived in Winnipeg, and after my son was born. When I lived in Calgary, he always wrote to me when he was working nights at the post-office. Still have all of his letters. When he lived on Jefferson with his sister, we had lots of togetherness. I want the family to know that I loved Ed with all my heart, as a dear friend. He really was one of a kind. You will not be forgotten Ed. As always & forever your friend, Denise. Until we meet again. ♥ - Posted by: Denise Funk (Friend) on: Nov 28, 2015
