MARGARET WILSON (nee MILLAR) The family regretfully announces the passing of Margaret Wilson on November 23, 2015. She was born in Winnipeg and lived there her entire life, celebrating her 92nd birthday last month. She was the daughter of Janet and Joseph Millar of Elmwood. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband of thirty six years William (Bill) J. Wilson and her five brothers Stewart, Joe, Archie, Tom, and Andy Millar. Margaret is survived by her son, William of Winnipeg; her daughter Ruth Hawke (Ernie) of Florida; sisters Janet Suddaby and Ruth McKnight of Winnipeg and three beloved granddaughters, Catherine Luongo (Richard) of Chicago, Kimberly Ohlund (John) of Kansas, Roberta Loughrige (Brendan) of Milwaukee. She was also the very proud great-grandmother to Maggie Luongo and Colton Ohlund. Margaret is also is survived by many nieces and nephews. She attended Lord Selkirk School in Elmwood and Gordon King Memorial Church and was employed by Winnipeg and Henderson Regional public libraries. Our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother lead a very full life for which the family is very thankful. The family wish to thank the staff of N3 West at Concordia Hospital for their loving care for Margaret over recent weeks. As per Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration is being planned for a later date. Flowers are respectfully declined. Friends wishing to do so should consider a memorial contribution to the charity of your choice.
