MURIEL (MYRLE) WARD On Saturday, November 28, 2015 just after noon in the peace of her own home and surrounded by family, Myrle passed away peacefully at the age of 85. Myrle will be lovingly remembered by Donald, her beloved husband of 60 years, her brother Albert, her children Stephen (Teresa), Rod and Nancy and grandchildren Joseph, Erin, Rachel, Rebecca and Matthew, and many nieces and nephews on the east and west coasts. She was predeceased by her parents Percy and Violet Billett of Amherst, Nova Scotia and seven brothers and sisters. Myrle was a caring and loving mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend. She believed everyone has a unique story to tell and she took joy in hearing them. She had great faith, compassion and empathy. The ladies of "Roses" at St. Ignatius Parish, the "Grant Park Mall Group" and the 11:00 a.m. Sunday St. Ignatius mass coffee group all know this. She was deeply saddened in her final months when cancer took her strength away to the point she was unable to be with these very special people in her life. She loved you all dearly. In keeping with Myrle's wishes cremation has already taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at St. Ignatius Parish, 255 Stafford Street at 11:00 a.m. Father Michael Koryluk presiding. Flowers are gratefully declined but if friends and family wish, donations may be made in Myrle's memory to St. Ignatius Parish or to a charity of your choice. I will always remember Aunt Myrle's kindness and gentle, loving nature. Dad (Albert) and I have spent time remembering Myrle with fondness and affection. He described their childhood times in Nova Scotia with humor and shared his respect for the lovely person his sister became. - Posted by: Carol Anne Billett (Niece) on: Dec 02, 2015
