Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We are so saddened to hear of Rosan's passing. She was a most wonderful neighbour to us during the years when we had our cottage on the lake. One of our highlights in going to our cottage on the praries, coming from Vancouver, was to connect with our neighbours. Rosan would keep us up to date on how the winter had been at the lake, the migration of the songbirds, the peilicans, and always welcome our noisy bunch back for the summer. We treasured how welcoming she was to us all, especially her interest in what Andrew, our son, was up to over the years, even after we sold the cottage. She will be greatly missed and always remembered with great gratitude and fondness. She made a huge, wonderful difference in our lives. - Posted by: Pat, Anne and Andrew Hurlburt (former neighbours at Grand Marais) on: Jan 05, 2017

  • Today I pulled out my Christmas cards from last year, only to find what is now my last card from Rosan after 35 years of cards. After I lost my husband and she her son, we grieved together and remained in each other's hearts forever. I will miss our relationship, her voice and friendship. The deep sadness that we both felt after losing Donnie became part of our special bond. I will miss our talks and lunches everytime I come home to Winnipeg. Rosan thank you for all your love, it is time now to find peace and join your loved ones that you have missed so much. Love always Bonnie - Posted by: Bonnie Macleod-Mason (Daughter in law and friend) on: Dec 10, 2015
