With saddened hearts the family announces the passing of Bill Munro on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Stonewall Hospital. Bill was predeceased by his parents, William (Bill) Munro and Muriel Munro, a long-time farming family from Warren, MB. He is survived and remembered by his sister Jean Halvorsen (Art) of Elliott Lake, ON, his brother Gary Munro of Stonewall, brother Ron (Mavis), niece Tami Kjerulf (Mike), their children Annika and Markus, and nephew Guy Munro, all of Winnipeg. The family wishes to extend its warmest thanks to the wonderful medical teams at the Stonewall Hospital, the Home Care Workers, daily lunch providers and friends and residents at Lions Manor for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at the Stonewall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please pass on a smile with a friendly "Hello" to someone in your path today. We take heart in knowing that Bill's spirit is continuing its journey and rest assured he is checking everything out along the way. Good night Bill. We love and miss you.
