To say that I am shocked to learn of Hubert's passing would be an understatement, and our hearts go out to all those other lucky souls whose lives he touched. Hubert always struck me as one of those man's men who never found a challenge that he could not conquer. He was a huge help when we built our in-law suite for our in-laws, and on the odd occasion where I had a task beyond my skills, he was always there to lend a hand or piece of helpful advice. Our world is poorer for his passing, we will miss his quiet confidence and helpful hands. - Posted by: Jeff McFarlane (Friend) on: Jan 18, 2016

For the past 25 years Hubert and I were neighbors. But more importantly he was a true friend. I was saddened to hear of his passing and I still cannot believe that he is gone. Hubert taught me many things, electrical work, wood working, and he always had a tool for whatever we were fixing. I will miss you Hubert, I will miss our chats over a cold one. RIP dear friend. - Posted by: Mario Kostanjevic (Neighbor and friend) on: Dec 20, 2015

Hubert worked for us and was an important part of our company. He and Sandi were also personal friends. Hubert was instumental in helping build our company. He told us many times how happy he was working with us, but we were actually the lucky ones. He was caring, dedicated, loyal and will always be missed. We will never forget his many contributions to us, both personally and professionally. Our prayers are with the family during this sad time. - Posted by: Steve and Heather Greene (Owners - Breathe Easy Eco Solutions) on: Dec 16, 2015
