Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER STEPHAN BAYN 1926 - 2015 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Walter (Wally) Stephen Bayn on Monday December 14, 2015 at the Victoria Hospital. He leaves to mourn his wife Elva of 68 years; son David Bayn (Patricia); grandson Dylan Bayn; nephew Larry Stephens (Gloria); cousin Walter Wasylyshyn (Sonia). Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Annie Bachynski; sister Mary Schmuck. Wally was a Saskachewan boy . . . born in Hawarden on March 13, 1926. The family moved to Manitoba in 1945. He worked for Standard Aero Engine for 20 years as an aircraft machanic and later as an aircraft engine inspector. His greatest passion was his motor home and the many trips they took throughout Canada and the United States. Wally enjoyed his daily walks with his dog Brandy. In lue of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. My parents were close friends of Wally & Elva Bayn back in the 1950's & I recall spending a lot of time with them back then. We even lived with them for a short time while waiting for our new home to be ready to move into. I had the chance to reconnect with them for a short visit back in 2009. I was sorry to read of his passing. On behalf of my parents, who are no longer with us, & the rest of my family, our condolences go to the Bayn family on the loss of a wonderfull man.
