CHERYL LYNNETTE FERGUSON (nee PENNER) Cheryl Lynnette Ferguson (nee Penner), 53, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her husband Jerome, daughter Malayka, three brothers and their families. The funeral service for Cheryl will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with the interment to follow at the Blumenort EMC Cemetery, Blumenort, MB. The viewing will take place prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to the Bethesda Foundation, 316 Henry Street, Steinbach, MB, R5G 0P9.   • Dear Jerome and Cheryl's family, It is with great sadness that I learn about Cheryl's death. She has been in my heart always, although we were no longer in touch since a long time. I was often thinking of her, her parents, Mrs and Mr Ferguson who took me to Minneapolis, and you, Jerome. So many memories. We were young, and figured we had a long life, lots of time....But time has passed, life has been rich and difficult. I hoped in our maturity we could get in touch again. Too late, I'm so sorry.
