" What are you thinking, Michelle" - mom asked. " That I am going to miss you terribly." - I replied. " I miss my mom, dad and brother too but life goes on with or without you, Michelle. You have to live it and not miss a beat." Advised mom. " We get to say our good-byes that so many don't get to have, right mom?" I asked. " This is true and you have to remember that."- " Will you be my angel, mom?" " Yes, Michelle." My grandmother would tell me how my mother (Sharon) could peel an orange at 10 months old and their neighbours couldn't believe it. This story was evidence to what I had always known; our mother was born spry, clever, determined and capable. Throughout her life she was the most spirited person I have known or will ever know in everything she has done. She made our lives feel nurtured, easier and cared for by her presence. She is liked and loved by so so many friends and relatives. The torch she carried has now been passed unto us. The boys and I will forever miss your physical presence. I love you. Sharon was such a pleasant caring person. It was a pleasure knowing her and i will miss our casual chats, and not to forget, her flowers!! Each Spring it would be a pleasure to see what idea she had for the arrangement on each side of the garage. She was truly a fine person and will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Sharon Jacob (Neighbour) on: Dec 22, 2015
