Date of Passing: Dec 20, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ANN MCCLURE It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Margaret McClure, at her residence, on December 20, 2015 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children: Donna (Ron) and Douglas (Lesley), grandchildren: Cari (Jay), Sean and recently deceased Micah, great-grandchildren: Jazlyn and Cayla, brother-in-law Ralph McClure, Marilyn, Dianne and Judy as well as many nieces and nephews. Mum will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Walter, her parents Annie and Donald, sisters Sheila and Effie, and brothers Angus and Johnny. Mum was always ready to help anyone in need and so generous with her time for others. Mum's wit and humour was appreciated by all who knew her. Do unto others as you would have them do for you, was her appropriate motto. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow at St. Vital Cemetery. I would like to show special appreciation to three special people: Nasima, Julie and Sharon for their unwavering support and understanding during my Mum's illness. We would also like to thank the friends Mum had at the Adamar and Delta Manor. Always concerned about Mum's condition, and always passing on their best wishes, lovely, lovely people. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 BROADWAY, WINNIPEG, MB R3C 0X4 204-783-7211 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsonfuneralchapel.com

What a woman! During her visits to Montreal, her energy, zest for life, interest in others and sense of humour, were unmatched. She loved her kids, and grandkids to bits, and would bring photos to share. Crossword puzzles, swimming, playing cribbage, shopping, lunching.....always up for anything going. Marg always looked "swish", as my mom would say, well dressed and sharp. I will always have warm memories in my heart. - Posted by: Marilyn MacLean (Niece) on: Dec 23, 2015
