On behalf of our family, my deepest condolences go out to Sigi's family on their heartbreaking loss of this kind and wonderful person. Sigi had a second family also, those many thousands of Inco's Thompson mining community, including myself and my family, who are today also grieving in memory of Sigi. He was at all times, to all people, a gentle man and a gentleman. Would that we all had his compassion, patience and love for his fellow man. The world is a much poorer place today without him. - Posted by: Barry Hadfield and family (Dear friend) on: Dec 24, 2015

He was a special friend when we lived in Thompson MB. They was a lovely family I would see every day when I passed through the gates at INCo. I never seen him angry at anyone always a big smile! God bless them! - Posted by: Lois & DELBERT Bailey (Friends) on: Dec 24, 2015

Sigi was a lovely and caring man whose family meant everything to him. I will never forget his Christmas solo at Advent Lutheran when he sang Lo How Rose Is Blooming in German. I was sorry to hear he had been stricken with this disease. Thoughts and prayers are with Lee and the family in this difficult time. - Posted by: Marsha Bailey (friend) on: Dec 23, 2015
