• My deepest condolences to Darwin, Garth and families on the loss of your sweet mother. So sorry to not have been able to attend her service. Visits to Auntie Dorothy and Uncle Hector's farm and later to their place in Stonewall, were some of my fondest childhood memories. Perhaps this was because of my being the only girl among all the boys, I was treated like a princess by the both of them. Dorothy was always so good natured and thoughtful, with only positive and kind things to say about anyone. She had an infectious laugh. She was a generous lady who took delight in the smallest success in any of her loved ones' lives. She was always heavily involved in her community and church throughout her life. Even in her last years, with Hector gone, when some memories and recognition were being robbed from her, she still welcomed me into her little suite with a hug and smile, even though it was obvious, she was not remembering who I was... Didn't seem to matter to her, she was simply so thankful of the thought. A truly great lady. You can now be with your beloved Hector and Dale again.
