DENISE ENNS It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Denise Enns on December 29, 2015. She is survived by her son Connor; her brothers, Gary and Brad; and her cat Frankie. Denise grew up in Winnipeg and spent the majority of her life in Fort Garry. She was one of the strongest women you could ever hope to meet. Through the years, she never allowed her illness to define her. She kept fighting until the very end, and her strength and perseverance will eternally serve as inspiration for those who knew her. Denise is now walking free with her parents, William and Marie Enns. The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria General Hospital for the care and support they provided through this tough time. The service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book, please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I went to school with Denise. She was in my Grade 8 or Grade 9 class at Viscount Alexander and we both went to Vincent Massey for high school. We were never friends but for me she was special and always stood out. I have thought of her over the years and now, here I am, not quite 50 years later, writing to say I still remember her and am glad to read that she was so well regarded by others. I smile at the references to her sense of humor, she always did have a significant intelligence that caught my attention and I loved her blond hair and deep brown eyes besides. Yes, I had a huge crush on her. I hope my remembrance of her, even after all these years, has meaning and I offer my remembrance as energy for the sustenance of her spirit, wherever she may now be. Be well, forever, brown eyed girl! - Posted by: David Bourdon (Classmate) on: Oct 04, 2024

  • Dear Enns Family ~ John and I were sad to learn that my dear Cousin Denise passed away a few days ago. I am glad she had the chance to spend Christmas with her dear Son Conner. I have many fond childhood memories of Enns family gatherings where I played with my cousin Denise. Also of visiting at her home with Uncle Bill and Aunt Marie growing up. Denise and her cousins which included me had a wonderful chance to catch up our lives a couple of years ago. While we have all grown up with our own families now, we will forever be the Enns girl cousins. Denise was very artistic just like her Father; and she was also very creative and an author. She was my cool beautiful cousin! May you enjoy Heaven now Denise and finally be relieved of all bodily pain. Our condolences especially to her Son Conner who will miss his Mom dearly. And to her brothers Brad and Garry and other friends and family members. With love and sadness, Cousin Pamela and her husband John. - Posted by: Pamela (Enns) Funk (First Cousin to Denise Enns) on: Jan 03, 2016
