RUTH DOBERSTEIN August 2, 1936 - December 24, 2015 After a lengthy illness, Ruth Doberstein (nee Frohwerk), beloved widow of Kurt Doberstein, passed away peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre on Thursday morning, December 24, 2015, at the age of 79 years. Ruth is survived by sisters, Florence Felbel and Laura Perreault; many nieces and nephews and; Papa and Nana's special girl, Cassie Rae Zielinski. She was predeceased by her parents, Emil and Julianna Frohwerk; sisters, Elsie, Dorothy and Helen; brothers, Fred, Roy, Albert and Emil. Ruth was born on the family farm in Grahamdale, Manitoba. A special thanks is extended to the staff of Riverview Health Care Centre 3E for their caring and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place, as per Ruth's request. A celebration of Ruth's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may gratefully be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
