ELSIE PATZER (nee MARTIN) June 17, 1923 - December 29, 2015 It is with great sadness that Elsie, a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an aunt and friend, peacefully departed from our lives. During her long life, she graced us with her gentle ways, her laughter and her love. She loved and cherished her children and all of her family and always enjoyed those quiet moments when she could talk with you one on one. She was a lady of many skills but especially enjoyed crocheting, knitting and, of course, those puzzles. Sadly, she leaves behind her sons, Ivan (Rio) and James (Jodie), grandchildren, sister Erna and brother Albert (Gerry), and many nieces and nephews. She has joined her husband Louie, mother (Sarah) and father (Henry), sisters Emma (Alec), Doreen (Jack), Esther (Bill), Margaret (Lars), Martha, brother Fred (Betty) and her beloved pets. While she may be gone from us in body, she will always be with us in our hearts. The family would like to acknowledge and extend many thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge for their very considerate care over the years she was a resident. To celebrate her life and to say good-bye, funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, Manitoba.
