John Windsor was my dad's best friend, our next door neighbour and was like an uncle to me. He was a very practical man, knowledgeable and always there to share some good advice. He was so handy that he actually built his own plane that he flew with my dad. He also made the very best Yorkshire puddings, hands down. One of my most treasured gifts was one that I received from John, a hope chest that he made out of cedar. He had heard me mention that I had always wanted a hope chest and secretly worked on it for my 18th birthday. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Janice S. (Friend) on: Jan 04, 2016
