Following with Leona's wishes no formal service will be held. A private interment will be held at a later date at Geysir Cemetery. Leona was a wonderful person and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be her neighbor on Logan Ave and to have bought and renovated the building. She was so happy with the changes we made. Leona will be missed and her laughter remains in our head. We will miss Leona's visits to the museum. It was our pleasure to have come to know her. She was always so friendly and optimistic. It was an honour to have had the opportunity to carry her beautiful Icelandic sweaters, mittens and hats in our gift shop. Those who purchased her work for themselves or as a gift were always delighted with the quality and expertise of her work.
