saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Nick, As a porter for CN for numerous years this gentleman has had the pleasure of traversing our great country literally thousands and thousands of times. I can only imagine the memories he must have made along the way. I remember how much he enjoyed the sport of wrestling, and how entertained he was by the antics of the stars of the sport, I accompanied him to AWA matches in the 70s, where he went berserk when the high flyers would take on Von Raske and Mad dog Vachon. Uncle Nick was also a fantastic maker of polskie ogorki, as well as many other preserves such as beets and tomatoes. His pickles were beyond epic. Uncle Nick was smart in the way of business and a very well read individual whose tax preparation abilities were unmatched and much appreciated by many a relative or friend. A welcome mainstay at Bencharski family gatherings Uncle nick will be missed by all members of his extensive family,,, may he rest in peace. - Posted by: Bryan Ledger (Nephew) on: Jan 06, 2016
