CARL SIEDLECKI Early in the morning of Saturday, January 16, 2016, peacefully Carl passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was 84 years old. Carl will be sadly missed by his wife of 61 years Joyce, daughters Debbie and Kim, son Michael, sons-in-law John and Kirby, granddaughter Kyla and grandson Kyle and his wife Danielle and his sister Stella Stefishen and her family. Carl was born in the Winnipeg Beach area. He worked at many jobs over the years from farming to truck driving to building homes; but he always made it back to being a heavy equipment operator. We couldn't drive anywhere in the city without him pointing out the work he did in that particular area. He dug the basements to those houses, made the pond at Assiniboine Zoo or helped to shape the Forks. Carl loved the outdoors. Many weekends were spent out camping with the family or just out for a hike to look for mushrooms. Fishing in the summer and hunting every fall was one of his favorite things to do. A service will be held this spring at Green Aces Funeral Home, HWY #1 East at Navin road, date and time will be announced at a later date We would like to thank everyone at the Seven Oaks Dialysis unit for their caring support over the past 11 years. Many of you have become friends to Carl and Joyce. We would also like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Aids of Seven Oaks who took care of Carl the past few months, their care and support were very comforting.
