RICHARD (DICK) ALAN MCELHOES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick McElhoes on January 18, 2016, at the age of 84. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg. Longer obituary to follow.   • I knew Dick from the days of private as well as MPI, along with his wife Jean. He was one the the most respected individuals and a real joy to work with, and stayed in touch, even after our retirements. Dick was truly a "good guy" and will be sadly missed.   • I came to Manitoba and MPI in 1971 and immediately met Dick. At the time Dick was still working for one of the private adjusting firms and was handling a lot of the "overflow" of claims that MPI was not at the time equipped to handle. Dick later joined MPI in 1974. While not working in close proximity to Dick during our mutual time at MPI, we did enjoy a 20 year acquaintance up until his retirement and have enjoyed sporadic contact since.
