My sincere condolences to all of you, Art's family. He and Daphne were such wonderful neighbours when they lived in the "Old Schwartz House" down the street from me. The day I met Art a warm and special feeling came over me I knew then that this man was an amazing person and how lucky I was to have been introduced to this kind, caring, loving gentleman. Art would stop my Turtle Mountain Resort each day for a visit, he always had words a wisdom and a funny little joke. Art loved life and all the people around him and in return we all loved Art. Art you will be missed but never forgotten - Posted by: Heather Morrison (a special friend) on: Jan 25, 2016

Firstly, to Barton, Brent, Ainsley, Alyson, Blair and their families, my sincere condolences on the loss of your Father/Grandfather/Great Grandfather - he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. What a wonderful man Arthur Schwartz was! He was a family man, who loved his family first and foremost. His sense of humour was the best, he was a great leader and was so down to earth. Dr. Schwartz gave me my career start 34 years ago and I had the pleasure of knowing him personally as my parents called Art and Daphne friends. A fond memory of Art was a time we ran into one another after he had moved away to Deloraine, Manitoba. I really missed contact with Art during those years. Approximately 5 years ago, I happened to be camping with my children near Boissevain, Mb,which is approximately 40 kms from Deloraine. The children and I were in Boissevain doing our grocery shopping and in walked Art Schwartz! I was so excited to see him and we hugged for a good long time. He looked at me and said 'well, I woke up this morning wondering where I would do my grocery shopping and something was pulling me to Boissevain and here you are'... We talked and talked for a very long time and was a great reunion of two people who truly cared for one another. He was like a second father to me - someone I admired and deeply respected. I am so happy that he now can enjoy the company of his loving wife, Daphne,in the heavens above. Until we meet again, dear friend. - Posted by: Christine Salt ((friend of the family)) on: Jan 25, 2016
