Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA LOUISE JONES (nee BARRETT) 1945-2016 It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our mom, and grandma, on January 25, 2016 at Concordia Hospital. Mom is survived by sons, Michael and Roger; and the light of her life, grandson Dallas. Mom was predeceased by her mother and father; her daughter Tricia, and brothers, Jim and John. She was an amazing woman who sacrificed, so her two boys had everything they needed. She will be deeply missed. A service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Ave, Friday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

Sheila and I first met as neighbours. She had two small boys Roger and Michael,and I had a small boy Jared. The boys became fast friends and as neighbours whose children played together we became neighbourhood friends. But over the years Sheila and I became more than neighbourhood friends. We formed a bond and confided in each other over the years. We supported each other when times were bad and celebrated together when times were good. We could lean on each other. And even though we were 1500 miles apart the friendship remained as if we were still neighbours in Winnipeg. I will miss you my friend. We kept our secrets as friends do for each other.
