PALMA ROEHL Palma Roehl of Erickson, MB, passed away at the Minnedosa Health Centre on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at the age of 73 years. Palma is survived by her partner Brian Schnell of Erickson, MB; son Carl (Jennifer) Roehl of Gananoque, OT; daughter Gail (Dave) Hodkin of Churchill, MB; granddaughter Robyn Halliday and husband Anthony Lenting of Winnipeg, MB; brothers: Ken Eide of Steinbach, MB, Christopher (Kelly) Eide of Oak Bank, MB, Paul Eide of Saskatoon, SK, Sam Eide of Medicine Hat, AB; sisters: Margaret (Arthur) Lazier of Steinbach, MB, Karla Eide of Medicine Hat, AB. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Erickson Legion Hall with Elgin Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Lutheran (Danvers) Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Erickson Fire Department, P.O. Box 40, Erickson, MB R0J 0P0 or the Erickson Royal Canadian Legion, P.O. Box 439, Erickson, MB R0J 0P0.   • We were neighbours on Arden Avenue (St. Vital)for a couple of years until her family moved to Cooks Creek, however didn't lose that contact. She was a wonderful person.   • I am so sorry to hear of Palma's death. Palma and I go back to junior High at Norberry School, St. Vital and we became fast friends. Although we have not spent a lot of time together over the years we still kept in touch. My condolences to the family.
