ROBERT (BOB) ALLEN SEMKIW May 14, 1966 - January 29, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, husband, brother and friend, Bob Semkiw on January 29, 2016. Remaining to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Brenden, Brooke and Brody, his wife Eva, brothers, William (Carol) and Leo (Charlene), nieces, Kathy (Chris), Becky, Samantha and Sophie, and nephew Lukasz as well as many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Boris and Catherine, and sister Jannine. Born in Winnipeg, he attended St. John's High School. Bob graduated at the top of his Red River Mechanic's Class at the age of 21, later becoming owner / operator of Logan Rad. With his mechanical aptitude and hard working attitude, there wasn't a problem he couldn't fix. He loved relaxing at the cabin, watching movies with the kids, boating and snowmobiling, hockey and sports, but above all, his children were his pride and joy. He will remain in our memories as the ultimate host, charming and attentive with a warm heart, and a genuine welcome (anytime). He was a friend you could always count on...
