GERALD (GERRY) JENSEN November 16, 1933 - February 2, 2016 Peacefully on February 2, 2016 at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, Gerald (Gerry) Jensen, aged 82 years, passed away. Gerry was born in Selkirk, MB and lived in Ashern most of his life. He resided at the Cedar Lodge in Teulon in his last years. Predeceased by his mother Gladys Bennet; father Wilson Bennet and his children's mother Lynn Pischke. He leaves to mourn his three children, Bill of Ashern, Dave (Liz) of Ottawa, and Sherri (John) of Teulon. Gerry is also survived by his siblings Jackie Kyle of Quebec, Rob (Debbie) Bennet of Matlock, John (Brenda) Bennet of Alberta and Patty (Wayne) Deschamps of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild along with several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Ashern Centennial Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A luncheon will follow in the hall. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Everyone in attendance can consider themselves Honourary Pallbearers. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerry's memory to a charity of one's choice.
