Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL CHARLES FORTIER April 22, 1928 - February 4, 2016 Peacefully, early Thursday morning, February 4, 2016, with family by his side, Paul Fortier passed away in his sleep at Foyer Valade nursing home at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his wife Rita, children Raymond (Eileen), Simone, Marcel, and grandchild Stephan. Paul was born in Meyronne, SK and spent his youth on his family's farm. He lived most of his life in Winnipeg, MB where he met and married Rita and raised their three children. He worked as a shop mechanic for Manitoba Hydro for 25 years prior to his retirement. The family wishes to thank the staff of Foyer Valade who showed Paul great love and compassion during his stay there for the past 18 months. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Desjardins 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca
