Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JIRI FEDERSEL February 25, 1940 - January 31, 2016 The Federsel family would like to announce the peaceful passing of George Jiri Federsel, a loving husband, father, and grandfather on January 31, 2016 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. He was born and raised in the former Czechoslovakia and arrived to Canada in 1970. He earned his Bachelor of Law Degree at the University of Manitoba and practiced law most of his career. He was a man of great intellect who spoke five languages, had a great passion for world politics, Second World War history, and travelling the world. In his younger days, George was very athletic and completed marathons and triathlons. His greatest joy was his grandson Jessie, who will greatly miss his "Deda", as they had many adventures together. George has now joined his son, Karel Federsel (1970 to 2005), in the great unknown. As per George's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
