  • My sincere condolences on Irene's passing. She was a force to be reckoned with. A hard working principled psychiatric nurse and proud of it. Irene was always there for her students and patients alike. Much loved and admired. She made a wonderful contribution and will be missed. - Posted by: Dianne L. Gaborieau (Teacher, Co-worker and friend) on: Feb 09, 2016

  • I am sad to hear of Irene's passing. I was a Social Work student that had the pleasure of her mentorship and guidance which helped to shape my career. We lost touch but I will never forget how wonderful she was. She was such a kind, caring, wonderful person. My condolences to the family - Posted by: Tara Keyser (Social Work Student) on: Feb 06, 2016

  • I am so sorry to read about Irene's passing today. I remember our wonderful days in psychiatric nursing school and the bond Irene, Bev and I made to help each other through this journey. We had lots of fun over the years getting together for regular dinners, sharing our stories of our roles as RPN's. Unfortunately we lost touch some years back and often wondered what Irene was doing these days. She made a real difference in her personal and professional life and this should be remembered! Take care and know she is lovely remembered by many! - Posted by: Doreen Fey (Friend and fellow RPN) on: Feb 06, 2016
