Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KOSHELUK (LUCENKO) July 14, 1925 - January 29, 2016 It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of our mom, baba and great-baba on January 29, 2016 at the age of 90. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jean (Ed), Tom, Deborah (Glen); grandchildren, Karen (Zoel), Gary (Lisa), Lori (Steed), Kari (Dallas); great-grandchildren, Caityln (Curtis), Louis (Jessie), Jordan, Keanan; daughter-in-law Gwen; step-grandchildren, David; Gloria (Trevor); Kevin (Rosey) and their families and sister-in-law Tillie along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Michael in 1992; son Ronald in 2014; siblings John and Mike Lucenko and sister, Maggie Krykewich. Mary was born and lived in Cooks Creek, Manitoba where she met and married Michael on November 1, 1941. They settled in Transcona where they raised their family and enjoyed many holiday gatherings together. And, in 1991 they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary surrounded by family and friends. Mary had a passion for gardening and loved being outdoors. She was proud of her hundreds of flowers that surrounded her tiny home. The well-manicured yard with the colourful flowers that lined the front driveway could not be missed by anyone that drove down Regent Avenue. She loved going out for dinners, weekly shopping trips and visiting Club Regent Casino regularly, but activities diminished as her health slowly declined. Mom, baba and great-baba.now, you will never be alone. You have earned yours wings that will fly you home. You will not be forgotten in our thoughts and in our prayers. Always and forever we will remember you. Special thanks to Dr. Finlayson at Seven Oaks General Hospital for his excellent care and patience, and, to St. Joseph's Residence, Dr. Andrea Babick, the wonderful nurses and caregivers for their compassion and attentiveness to her needs while she was in their care. The family thanks you with our whole heart. Funeral Services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Cooks Creek on Saturday February 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Taras Kowch officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zoel, Louis, Gary, Curtis, Steed, and Dallas. In lieu of Flowers, a monetary donation may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, Cooks Creek, Grotto Fund Box 35, Group 23, R.R.#2, Dugald, Manitoba R0E 0K0 www.seasonsfunerals.ca
