CHRISTEL KINZE Christel was born in Germany on May 12, 1931 and immigrated to Canada in the mid 1950s. She was employed at Burns Packing Plant. She met Bill Kinze, also from Germany and they were married in 1962 in Winnipeg and operated a construction company for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2004 and niece Rosi. Christel is survived by daughter Arlene Robins of White Rock, BC, sister Waltrud Hilbrecht of Hanover, Germany, brother Winfred and his two children of Harz, Germany. She was a resident of Luther Home for the past six years. She will be missed by her family and friends. The funeral for Christel will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, R3C 2B7 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, R3L 0K6.
