HENRY (HANK) WASKUL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry "Hank" Waskul on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 76 years. Remaining to forever cherish Hank's memory are his loving wife, Gloria; sons, Kenny, Kevin (Hamilton) and Kyle (Barb) and brothers, Eli (Jo-Ann), Peter and Morris (Annette). He will also be missed by his special girls, Lacey, Chrissy (Mike) and his precious Violet as well as his sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Lee-Ann; parents, John and Annie; sisters, Caroline and Nettie and brothers, John, George, Walter (Simone) and Michael. Hank loved to play hockey in his younger years and was known for his great sense of humour. He loved to spend his time socializing at The Forks where he was known as the unofficial mayor, fishing and playing the lottery. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Hanks life. The family would like to thank the staff at Palliative Care as well as the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for going above and beyond. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SMD Foundation, 825 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
