GEORGE BERMAN George Berman, aged 65, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2016 after succumbing to cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda Jackson, his mother Vera Bermanova, his sister Eva Berman-Wong (Albert) and their family, as well as his many in-laws and friends. He will be lovingly remembered for his warm heart, his quirky sense of humour and his love of people, animals and nature. The family would especially like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital angels all. A Celebration of Life' event will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations can be made to Nature Conservancy of Canada or to a charity of their choice. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

A great schoolmate, a close friend and a contact also in Canada till he moved to Alberta, married, started building sea kayaks, and writing about his experiences on water, a friend who had a serious accident/brain injury while coping with the divorce of his beloved parents in, or about 1966-7. I will miss you my dear friend who had visited, stayed and lived with me briefly in Toronto in 1976. So sorry Evicko for losing a great brother, warm regard to his mother Vear. RIP Jirko.
