Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARK MACMILLAN February 14, 1959 - February 21, 2016 Peacefully, after a five year courageous battle with Ewing Sarcoma, Mark MacMillan passed away with his loved ones by his side, at the age of 57, on February 21, 2016 at Portage Hospital. Beloved spouse of Murielle, loving father of Brent and Alyssa. Mark is survived by his mother Rita, siblings: Leonie (Jean Senecal), Ron (Midge), Gerald (Diane), Lynne (Ken Smith), Laurie (Ron Olver), and Michael; brothers-in-law Andre Girard, Raymond (Bev Girard), and sisters-in-law Claudette Foster and Suzanne (Russell White), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was predeceased by his father Roland, and nephew Ryan. Mark retired from CP Rail in March 2014. His passion was his cattle herd that he devoted much of his life to, culminating in him achieving recognition of commercial black angus herd of the year for 2015. A funeral will be held in his honour on February 27, 2016 in St. Eustache, Manitoba at the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church, rosary taking place at 12:30 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful team of doctors from Toronto along with Dr. Ralph Wong, Dr. Brett Finney and Dr. Woelk, his Palliative Care team of nurses especially Shelly Brown, and the home care professionals.
