Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH (KEN) GORDEN BANFIELD After a brief illness we regretfully announce the passing of Kenneth Banfield on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the age of 85 years. Remaining to cherish Kenneth's memory are his wife, Sylvia; brother Gerald; sons, Ken (Nancy), Larry and Dan (Yvette); daughters, Heather (Jake) and Elaine; grandchildren, Nathan (Brandi), Laura, Kendra (David), Andrew (Stephanie), Daniel, Michael, Peter, Jennifer, Chris (Kirsten), Jody (Kris), Loni (Kyle), Carter, Jessa and Rae; as well as seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Hilliard; mother Mabel; sisters, Marjorie and Ada and daughter, Holly. Ken spent 33 years in the Air Force and was a longtime member of Pine Ridge Golf Club. On Friday, March 4, 2016, Ken's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Rev. Marc Whitehead, presider. Special thanks to the staff of N3 West, Concordia Hospital for their kind care of our dear Ken. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NKUC Accessibility Fund, 174 Pentland Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2G 2S3.
