ANNE Julia PARISIAN
Date of Passing: Feb 28, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE PARISIAN It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Anne Julia Parisian (Lupaschuk), on February 28, 2016 at the age of 86. Mom was predeceased by her husband George, and daughter Janis. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Garth (Heather), son in law Evalt, grandson Grant (Alison), granddaughter Brittany (Chris), and great grandchildren Dylan, Grady, Richard, and Julianna. Mom was of rare stock, a gentle kind soul who saw the best in everyone. Mom was an avid reader, and great supporter of the SPCA, along with too many charities to mention. Over the years many were treated to some of the finest Ukrainian food and "Anne" hospitality. Whether singing (if I had a pickle) to her grandchildren, or two stepping the night away with dad, mom enjoyed life to the fullest. A testimony to mom is how much she will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew her. Rest in peace mom, we love you, and we will see you in our dreams. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. I was saddened to learn of Aunty Anne's passing. My Dad, her brother Leo, will be so pleased to learn that his sister Anne came to know and love Jehovah and his wonderful promise of everlasting life in restored paradise conditions on earth. What a great reunion that will be when they are both resurrected. Thinking of Garth, Evalt and all her beloved grandchildren! I know her passing leaves a huge crater in your hearts. - Posted by: Doreen LUPASCHUK (Niece) on: Mar 07, 2016

Dear Garth, Heather and family, Our thoughts are with you today as you honour your memories of dear Auntie Anne. She was my favourite Aunt (on my mother's side) and I am grateful for every visit I shared with her when she came to Edmonton. Auntie Anne was always happy, eager to share a conversation, and laughed easily. I take great comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loving family who were eagerly waiting to welcome her on the other side. Love and heartwarming hugs to all of you today. - Posted by: Myrna and Bruce Brososky (Niece) on: Mar 07, 2016

I came to know Anne over the years as she was my neighbour in the back lane. I would see her out walking her dog and she was always friendly and fun. You could see how kind a person she was and I really missed her when she moved away. Rest in Peace Anne. - Posted by: Gerry Daly (Back lane neighbour) on: Mar 04, 2016

Although I never had the privilege of knowing Anne, Garth has shared many stories about his amazing Mother. Some humorous, some sad, but all described a kind and loving woman of great character. How can it get any better than that. I am so sad for your loss. - Posted by: Glen Cook (Friend of Garth and Heather.) on: Mar 03, 2016

I will cherish the fond memories I have of my Aunty Anne. She very kind and loving. I will remember especially her telling stories and the expression "can you imagine" when discussing something that was totally unbelievable to her. She will be missed. Much love to her family and my thoughts are will all of you. - Posted by: Nicole Pullen (Niece ) on: Mar 03, 2016
