Born: Jun 23, 1929
Date of Passing: Mar 02, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE VIVIAN KOTCHON (nee BOURGEAULT) Peacefully, on Wednesday March 2nd, 2016, June began what she called her "Final Journey" after a short battle with cancer. She has been reunited with her husband Mike, parents Louis and Florence Bourgeault, her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Irene Bourgeault, grandson Ryan Bradford, and many more friends and relatives. She is sadly missed by her children Brian (Anecita), Bonnie (Darrel) Danyluk, John (Tannis), and Gerry; grandchildren Sean (Aimee) Kotchon, Michelle, Mark (Lindsay), and Robert Danyluk, Jared Kotchon, and Lindsey (Jared) Zayak; and great-grandchildren Mason and Jocelyn Kotchon, Payton and Avery Kotchon, and Rowan and Rhett Danyluk. June was born on June 23rd, 1929 in the St. Boniface Hospital. She resided in Garson her whole life, marrying Mike in 1947. She was a very special person who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. June was a "doer" who volunteered with 4H, St. Andrews United Church, Garson's 75th Anniversary Committee, and especially at the Garson Community Club. In 2002, June received a Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal for her outstanding contributions to the community. In compliance with her wishes a private family graveside service will be held when warmer weather arrives; no formal Funeral Service will be held. Rest in peace, we love you, and will see you in our dreams. We would like to thank Dr. Khan and the staff at Beausejour Hospital. In lieu of flowers, June requested donations be made to the Beausejour Hospital TV Fund (PO Box 1614, Beausejour, MB, R0E 0C0) or a charity of your choice.
